(11:35 am, Friday, MEG office)
I arrived at the MEG office at 11:20 am (I was told to be there by 12).. And dapat ba talaga pareho na naman kame ng suot?! Buti na lang i removed my cap.. Hmm, our outfit for today, jeans, tee (she's wearing a tee, I'm wearing a red spag strap), and a cap (she's wearing white, I'm wearing red)... Ano ba yan!? Here we go again... :)
Anyway, Peewee said we're leaving there at 1pm.. I'm assisting her kasi sa fashion show tapos I'll stay there na for the rest of the night. Sayang nga eh, di ako makakasabay with Ana and Anette. Di bale, I'm meeting them naman once they came there. And for sure they understand. Buti na lang go yung dalawang yun! Kasi I dunno what will I do pag di na sila tutuloy dun sa party! I told 'em naman na I'm meeting them there, saka sabay din kame uuwi.. so yun, buti ok lang yun sa kanila.. *sigh*
Btw, right now I feel really sabog. I dunno, feeling ko I'm gonna faint, parang umiikot yung paligid ko, saka I'm kinda dizzy. I eat naman before I went here.. Kaya lang I feel really sabog! Feeling ko din hihikain ako... Ano ba yan!?! I'm not excited naman with the party tonight (strange noh, this is my first MEG party at hindi ako excited..). I don't know... I don't really feel excited about tonight's party.. Siguro mamaya mae-excite din ako when we got there. And siguro din kasi Lau's not gonna be there.. You know, my night's not that happy if she's not there...
It's 11:45 pa lang.. 1pm pa kami aalis dito. So 1 hour and 15 mins pa'ko maghihintay dito... hay!!
Anyway, Peewee told me to eat first.. Ayoko naman kumain coz I'm busog pa. Saka I'm sabog pa.. ewan ko ba! I'm not puyat naman!! 8 hours nga tulog ko eh.. Urgh!!!
(04:45pm, The Loft)
Ok, so we arrived in Peewee's apartment at around 2pm (we leave MEG office at exactly 1pm). Naku, the cab driver is so kulit ha! Feeling close masyado! Anyway, Peewee drive to The Loft na lang.. so much of the makulit cab driver.. (BTW, I forgot to time out na naman!!!! My bad!!!)
When we arrived in The Loft, Ariel's not arrived yet (yung choreographer ng Fashion Show), so we eat first dun sa Good Earth Roast.. Sarap naman ng food, and it's affordable. After we eat, we go back to the Loft muna, eh the models' wala pa so nag-mall muna kame. When we're in the mall na, titingin dapat ako ng shoes for my Practicum uniform kaya lang my money's not enough.. So, hands off (and eyes off) ako sa mga products.. Baka malungkot lang ako! Anywa, pinagkamalan pa kameng magkapatid ni Peewee dun sa Details Trading.. Magkamukha daw kasi kame.. hmmm, di naman ah!
Anyway, pagbalik namen ng loft andun na rin sa wakas yung ibang models! Peewee asked me if it's ok na iwanan niya ko sa Loft. She also asked if I want, sama na lang ako sa kanya ulit dun sa apartment niya.. I can't answer.. Kasi parang gusto ko sumama sa kanya sa apartment niya but I'm kinda hesitant kasi I came there for work. So by 3pm she finally told me that she's leaving me na..
Sabi pa niya, "Ok, I'm leaving you ha! Don't cry! (haha!!)... Are you sure you're gonna be ok here?" I told her not to worry na, I'm gonna be fine naman.. She gave me her number and txt her nalang if anything goes wrong. So yun, iniwan niya na'ko with Ariel and left na (she told them pa nga, "O don't forget to feed her ha!" lol). I stayed sa taas na lang and watch the rehearsal of the models.
The models are ok.. Marla's there also. One of them is pretty kasi simple lang beauty niya. After the rehearsal of the models, Ariel told me to help him na lang in the quick changes during the fashion show.. Ayun, sana pala sumama na lang talaga ako kay Peewee sa apartment niya! Anyway, I'll just rest nalang muna in the couch tapos I'll change na rin in a while dun sa restroom.
(around 06:30, few minutes before the show, The Loft)
The MEG eds arrived 30 minutes (if I remembered it right) before seven. When Pirra and Mabel saw me they said, "Hi!! Wow! You're so cute!" And ako naman smile lang, I thought, "hihi!! I'm cute daw.. aww! :)" Ang tagal nila Anette dumating.. But they're on their way na. Last time they texted me they're in Ortigas na. So I guess in a few minutes dadating na din sila.. I texted Tin pala to ask if she's coming in tonight's party, and she said yes daw! They're on thier way na din ata!! While I was sitting in the couch sa 1/f Peewee arrived (past 7 na ata yun). Sabe nia, "O, why don't you go upstairs?", I said kasi i was waiting for my friends nga, but I go up with her muna while wala pa sila Ana. After a few mintues sa taas, I go down ulet, and waited for the two girls.
(8pm, PARTY TIME!!!)
The party starts at exactly 8pm with the Audio-Visual Presentation about teen pregnancy (?).. Ano ba yan!?! Start na ng program wala pa rin ang girls ko!!! First band to perform was Moonstar 88!! Wow!!! It's the first time i saw them perform live!! They sang their famous hit, Torete, and some other songs. I dunno na what are the other songs they sang kc finally Ana and Anette arrived na.. YAY!!! I'm happy na!! When we got upstairs I accompanied them to the registration (pinasingit ko sila!! bwahaha!!!). When they said na they're not hungry yet, we sat on the floor muna, as the hosts (MTV's Colby and Claire) announced the first set of awards. After nun, eto na ang game! First game, the Mirinda game! Janis lead the first game. All the girls in green, orange, and brown can come up on stage and have a chance to win a mirinda gift pack. Eh Anette's wearing green, so we said, "Go Anette!!" Ayun, she goes up on stage naman!! Haha!! Kitang-kita ang Anette!! Pano, the other girls are hanggang balikat lang niya!! So kitang-kita talaga siya!! When she goes back to us Minelli came to us and told Anette not to leave kasi aawardan siya! I said, "Face of the Night!?! Wow!!!"
When Pierra passed by, I introduced them to her. I told her din na Anette has modeled na in MEG before.. The second band to perform was the Stonefree. Tapos while Gab Valenciano's peforming I texted Nica where is she na. She's there na pala!! So I met her dun sa entrance booth. But I had to leave din kasi in a few minutes, fashion show na! So I go back to the dressing room na rin after a few secs.
Next was Hale!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The crowd were so ingay!! They're also singing with the band! I can't scream naman kasi we're stand by na at the back stage.. Grabe, pati ang mga models backstage nakiki-scream with the band!! Shempre the last song they sing was the crowd fave, The Day You Said Goodnight!! Grool!!!! Tapos eto na, fashion show na! Go girls!!!
Ok naman ang fashion show. Smooth sailing kame sa backstage. Some girls were panicking, but i told them to just relax.. Ok naman ang kinalabasan!! After the fashion show, Hay salamat!!! I'm free to party na rin!!! Ana, Anette and i eat muna sa Smokey's. We eat Bacon and Cheese hotdog sandwich. While we were there, super picture taking muna with Mabel, Florian and Nica!!! Ate Mabel borrowed my cam kasi full na yung memory ng cam nia. Kinuhanan niya si Aiza Marquez and Bo. After nun, eat na kameng tatlo.
After we eat, we sat on the floor ulet, chikahan, watch the program, picture taking... Nagyayaya na sila umuwi but I said Parokya and Bamboo's gonna perform pa!! (And I'm not leaving the Loft without having a picture taken with Pierra and Peewee!!) So we stayed! teehee!! Anyway, I txtd Tin to asked if she's in the Loft na.. Di na daw siya tumuloy! Sayang!!!
Anyway, at last, free na din si Peewee and Pierra, so I asked them if I could have a picture with them.. Ayun, they agreed naman! After Peewee and I had our picture taken, she asked me, "Nag-dinner ka ba?" I said, "Hindi!" She said "Ay L****!!! Kumain ka nga (sabay point sa Smokey's)!!!" I told her naman finished na, she goes, "Ah.." Haaayy, Peewee talaga!!! :)
Last two bands of the night.
Parokya ni Edgar, eto na!!! It's almost 11:30pm but the crowd's still alive!!! Parokya sang some of their popular songs like Yes Yes show, Silvertoes, Don't touch my birdie, and of course, First Day Funk!!! Grabe, ang crowd, nasa stage na!!!!
At eto na, the Fave Band of the Year... BAMBOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ang mga tao, ayaw talaga umalis ng stage!!! Claire told the crowd to get out of the stage na nga!! Kaya lang the crowd's really excited of Bamboo!!! Bamboo sang Halleluia and other hits of theirs... After nun, ning biglang nawala ang mga tao!!!
After Bamboo performed nagpaalam na rin kame kay Pierra that we're leaving na.. I told her that I'll be in the office next week except Thursday.. Ayun, we go down na after!
(12:30am, the After party/ the next day)
Paglabas namen, tumuloy muna kame ng Starbucks to buy coffee (Anette needs one! Pano bangag na). Then we go home na!!
I got home na mga 2am.. Hinatid na'ko nila Anette kasi yun magaling kong bro di ako sinundo sa 7eleven sa Q.Av! Mga 3am I sleep na.. Tapos at 6am nagising ako... "Shit, I'm hungry!!" Good thing may food sa baba.. So I eat muna, and after a few minutes after I eat, sleep ulit ako!
I woke up mga 10am.. at eto na nga ang ginawa ko.. Pero I stopped ng mga 11:20am coz I have to fix myself kasi aattend naman kame ng birthday party ni Shania sa McDo SM North Cyberzone.. Party na naman!?! Grabe, walang patawad!!! Lol!!!
Basta, all in all, the MEG party was really a success!! We all had a blast! Sabe nga ni Anette, "we never thought na magiging gano'n kasaya ang MEG Party!! Ang saya talaga!!"
Thanks to all the MEGgirls who came to the party!!! Til next year at the MEG's 8th year anniv party!! Grool!!!
